How your shortlist is actually built
No part of this is a secret, and none of it is a black box. If a recommendation ever looks wrong to you, this is where to look for why.
You set the priorities
Twelve short questions, including the three things that matter most to you — fees, placement support, flexibility, brand, faculty, recognition or network.
We filter on eligibility
Programmes you cannot join, or that fall outside your budget, are weighted down rather than padding the list. A shortlist you are not eligible for is not a shortlist.
We score against you
Each programme is rated 1–5 on seven attributes. Those ratings are weighted by your three priorities, so the same university ranks differently for two different students.
We show the reasoning
Every match comes with the specific reasons it fits you, plus fees, duration and approval status — so you can check the recommendation rather than take it on faith.

- UGC-DEB approval for online mode, specifically — not merely that the university is recognised
- Current fees, duration and eligibility, as published by the university itself
- Which specialisations are genuinely offered online, as against listed in a prospectus
- What placement and career support actually exists, where we can establish it
- NAAC grade, NIRF rank and international recognition, where they apply
The one check worth doing yourself
UGC recognition and UGC-DEB approval for online mode are two different things, and the distinction decides whether your degree is valid. We verify it before listing — and we would still rather you confirmed it for your own intake year on the official UGC-DEB list before paying anybody. It takes two minutes.
Limits
Where we stop
We are not a university, a college or an examination board. We do not run programmes, set fees, teach, examine or award degrees — and we have no part in any admission decision.
That means there are things we will never claim: we cannot secure you a seat, promise a scholarship, guarantee a placement, or speed up an application. Anyone in this industry who offers you those is selling something.
And what we don’t know
We do not list every university in India — only those we have verified and can describe accurately. If a programme you are weighing up is missing, that is not a verdict on it. Check it against the UGC-DEB list and tell us; if it qualifies, we would like to add it.
Where a fact is uncertain, we say so instead of filling the gap. A confident wrong answer about a degree’s validity costs a student two years.

Does it cost anything?+
No. The advisor, the comparisons and the guidance are free for students, and we never ask you to pay a university through us. If anyone contacts you claiming to take a fee on our behalf, that is not us — please tell us at once.
How do you decide the ranking?+
Each programme carries a 1–5 rating on seven attributes — fees, brand, placement, flexibility, faculty, recognition and network. Those are weighted by the three priorities you choose, so two students with different goals get different shortlists from the same catalogue. Every match lists the reasons behind its position.
Will a university contact me?+
Only if you ask us to. Your details are shared with the universities you are matched to so they can tell you about admission, and only after you tick the consent box. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what is collected, who receives it, and how to have it deleted.
Can you get me admission?+
No, and nobody honest can. We are an advisory and comparison platform — admission decisions belong entirely to the university. What we can do is make sure you are applying to the right ones.
Do you cover every university in India?+
No. We list the universities we have verified and can describe accurately, which is a smaller number than "all of them" and a more useful one. If one you are considering is missing, tell us.
Is an online degree actually valid?+
Yes — from a university holding UGC-DEB approval for online mode. Such a degree is treated on par with a regular one for most jobs, promotions and further study. That approval is the single thing to confirm before enrolling anywhere, and it is the first thing we check.
