Terms of Use

Who we are

sahidegree.com is operated by SunMatic Technologies , Mumbai, India (“we”, “us”, “our”). “You” means anyone using the site.

What this service is

SahiDegree is an information and comparison service. We help you compare UGC-approved online degree programmes and suggest which may suit the goals you tell us about.

We are not a university, college, education board or examination authority. We do not run programmes, set fees, teach, examine, or award any qualification. We have no role in any admission decision and cannot secure, influence or guarantee a seat.

What a recommendation means

The advisor produces suggestions by weighing the answers you give against information we hold about each programme. A match score is a guide, not a verdict — it reflects your stated priorities and nothing more.

Before you enrol anywhere, you are responsible for verifying directly with the university:

• That it holds UGC-DEB approval for online mode for the programme and the intake year you are joining
• The current fees, duration, eligibility and syllabus
• That the degree will be accepted for your specific purpose — a particular employer, a government role, further study, or recognition abroad

We check these as carefully as we can and correct errors when we find them, but approvals lapse, fees change mid-session and prospectuses are revised. The university’s own current statement always overrides anything on this site.

Your details, and what happens to them

When you complete the advisor and tick the consent box, your contact details and answers are shared with the universities you are matched to, and their authorised admission partners, so they can contact you about admission.

What those universities then do with your details is governed by their privacy policies, not ours. The full picture — what is collected, who receives it, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted — is in our privacy policy.

You confirm that the details you give are yours and are accurate. Please do not enter someone else’s number.

Messages sent through our contact form are a separate matter: they come to us only, are not passed to any university, and are used to answer you.

How the site is paid for

So that there is no doubt about it: the service is free to you, and universities and their authorised admission partners pay us a fee when we introduce a student who has consented to be contacted. That is how the site is funded.

Two things follow, and we hold ourselves to both:

• A listing is not for sale. A programme appears here if it holds UGC-DEB approval for online mode and we can describe it accurately — not because of a commercial arrangement.
• A position on your shortlist is not for sale. Ranking comes from the ratings each programme carries and the priorities you choose, and cannot be bought or moved.

Where a page carries a sponsored or promoted placement, it is labelled as such on that page.

Acceptable use

Please do not: submit false details or someone else’s; scrape, copy or republish the site’s content or data in bulk; attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems; submit automated or abusive messages through our forms; or use the site for anything unlawful.

We may refuse or withdraw access where we reasonably believe this clause is being breached.

What we do not guarantee

We offer the site in good faith and work to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee:

• That any information is complete, current or error-free
• Admission, a seat, a scholarship, a placement, a salary or any career outcome
• That a university will contact you, or within any particular time
• That the site will be available without interruption

Nothing here is legal, financial or career advice. Decisions about your education are yours.

Universities and other sites

Universities listed are independent organisations. A listing is not an endorsement or a warranty of their conduct, and we are not responsible for their programmes, representations, fees, refunds or admission decisions. Disputes about a programme are between you and that university.

Links to other websites are offered for convenience; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

We never ask you to pay a university through us. If anyone contacts you claiming to collect a fee on our behalf, that is not us — please tell us at once.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunity, lost earnings, or loss arising from a decision you made in reliance on this site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Content ownership

The text, design, logo and comparison data on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may read, print and share pages for personal use. You may not republish, resell or systematically extract the content without our written permission.

University names and logos belong to those universities and are used here to identify their programmes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page will change with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site.
